Bourke Street Public School (BSPS) is an inner city school established in 1880 and located in heritage classified buildings. The school caters for the needs of children from a diverse multicultural community and provides quality education in a safe and happy school environment. Student welfare is an important school priority and the school has a highly effective discipline policy. There is also a strong emphasis on assisting students to acquire competency in literacy, numeracy,computing skills and the creative and performing arts. BSPS is well-equipped to teach these skills.
