Welcome
to
Bourke Street Public School
Bourke Street Public School
is an inner city school established in 1880 and located in heritage
classified buildings. We are a small, caring school with a secure
environment where students show respect, tolerance and understanding of
individual differences and where the academic and cultural potential of
each student is fostered in a climate of responsibility in the pursuit
of excellence.
Children learn effectively
in our safe and secure environment which has strong elements of trust,
respect and confidence. This is the environment which we at Bourke
Street Public School strive to maintain.
Bourke Street Public School
caters for the needs of children with varying abilities and from many
different backgrounds. We provide a range of programs and opportunities
to develop knowledge and skills academically, socially and personally
to assist student’s in reaching their full potential. The school’s
resources are supplemented by funding from the Priority School’s
Program.
In partnership with the
local community the school aims to provide students with a quality
education that prepares them for lifelong learning experiences.
If you wish to enrol a child
